Back in November, we launched SkillDeck 1.0 to evangelize the idea that people are more than just their resumes.
This belief struck a chord.
The buzz was real. We welcomed users from 40+ countries, including the United States, Netherlands, Panama, Indonesia, and Singapore.
But our first product, a Notion-like portfolio builder, fell short.
It was plagued with friction and unnecessarily flashy — and in a constantly buzzing world, we learned that our users craved simplicity.
On the eve of January 23, I made the call to redesign SkillDeck completely. It involved burning everything we previously built down and rebuilding it from the ground up.
The decision was hard.
We had to let people go.
But we knew it was the right thing to do.
Say 👋 to our fresh, updated look.
We trimmed the bells and whistles to craft a cleaner place for where the spotlight lies on you.
From designs, articles, side-projects, and social media accounts — use SkillDeck to house everything you’ve created in one place.
We’re also stupidly simple to use. Copy-paste a link or upload a file/image, and we’ll generate delightful widgets that form your SkillDeck.
And yes, that includes funky Spotify playlists or cringe hackathon projects.

After quietly testing with a tiny cohort of designers and builders, we are finally ready to onboard more of you to our new product.
We're still a ways off from being perfect and polished - I swear, every day we find new bugs or little details to tweak (which drives our engineers crazy) 😅
But despite all that, we're starting to see some real magic happening, and we're pumped to share it with you.
Drop your email on our website and we’ll notify you once we’re ready to get you aboard.
